GTV First Loop: Mountain Biking and Flynn Time


Magnificent Seven, sort of. The plan was to do the first four trail by shuttle and bail down the jeep trail, since the last three are sketchy solo. Then I met ten cool firefighters from Cali who were doing the whole thing and invited me along. 26 miles of the hardest, scariest, most technical, and most fun riding I've ever done. We got lost. But we were rescued.



Meanwhile, Melissa took Flynn out to one of the area's few dog friendly hikes, with a neat arch at the top. To a place, still called, believe it or not, Negro Bill Canyon.



Tomorrow, more arches.
